Love has all the money. Lust has no money but then again she doesn’t need any. Here she looks like a masked avenger but her saucy XXX attitude is hard to ignore whatever she looks like. She’s a primal emotion understood by most and doesn’t require hard currency. Although that said she knows where most of the bodies are buried and wouldn’t be short of a few quid if push came to shove…

I am Indeed a King

Now it may not look like it but this little guy knows a thing or two. He has been treading the path to self enlightenment and has finally found the key. Despite that he looks somewhat deranged and is reminiscent of Keith Evil ‘King of the Crazy Talk’ he is, in fact, closer to nirvana than you’re ever likely to get. Having said that however he’s lost a few marbles in the process so it’s difficult to know what’ll come of him. Or how long he’ll be king of his own destiny…

Looky Looky See

Well what do we have here? Let’s have a looky see! You’d like to think that painting the picture would be the hard part but sometimes trying to come up with some justification for its being, other than ‘the muse made me do it’ can work out to be trickier. This picture is a good case in point. We have a slightly stern looking lady who appears to be giving you the stinkeye with the legend ‘looky looky see’. I’ve given all the help I can now you’re going to have to work this one out on your own…

Forever Family

Just like The Chipmunks and the Chipettes sang in 2009′s classic Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel (whilst giving their own inimitable version of Sister Sledge‘s 1979 disco hit ‘We are Family‘) ‘We are family, I’ve got all my brothers with me’. I think this just emphasises the importance of family connections (especially as id-iom consists of two brothers).

Families should stick together and this is exactly what this pair are doing. A cute brother and sister combo who just have to do everything together. Thick as thieves as they say and guess what – this particular duo are a pair of little tea leaves, when i was painting them they managed to rob me for £20.

Distinct Pleasure

I’m not entirely sure who’s had the distinct pleasure of doing what in this picture. We certainly had the distinct pleasure of painting it. You could have the distinct pleasure of owning it. Or maybe it’s that the lady who is gazing serenely to the right has had the distinct pleasure of being featured in one of our pictures. It really isn’t for me to say.

Amorous Enthusiasm

Look into my eyes. Not around the eyes. Into the eyes…. With the deft touch of a stage hypnotist at a late night Butlins show this lady is trying to convince you of her amorous intentions by using the power of her eyes alone. She believes (and rightly so) that a little enthusiasm can go a long way. Who are you to dissuade her from trying? My mind is clearly in the gutter…

No one’s perfect are they? Grace here comes pretty close but does occasionally have impure thoughts. She’s only human after all. It’s a rare thing to find a lady with as many positive attributes as Grace has but to reveal all I know of here would probably show her in a different light. Well hello there!

The id-iom demolition sale is now well and truly over! Who would’ve thought we had so much of our older stuff to sell – not us that’s for sure! Those that did, thank you very much for buying from us. It was much appreciated and we hope you got yourself something special to adorn your wall. We were both really happy with the results but as they say all good things must come to an end.

We haven’t been sitting back sipping cocktails whilst sitting by a pool being fanned by some obsequious servant. In fact, quite the opposite, we have actually been working our little cotton socks off painting new picture and canvases. Images can be found via the issuu link below:

If you’ve ever read any Isaac Asimov books (and if you haven’t then you’re missing out) then you’re probably aware that many of his books concern robots which were created by his fictional company ‘USR&MM’ (which stands for U.S Robots & Mechanical Men).

Now I’m sure that Asimov didn’t exactly have ‘pleasurable’ purposes in mind when he developed his ideas on robots but you know that if we had these kind of things in the real world it would only be a matter of time (probably just minutes) before somebody had the bright idea of fitting them out for the oldest profession.

Anyway, here we have the promotional posters for the cream of the robotic crop. The state of the art, Android powered, ‘Stoya’ model Pleasurebot. In shops now…

She’s A3 in size and comes from an edition of 5 which are all different and hand-finished. She has been completed using the magic of screen printing, spraypaint and stencils. Signed on reverse.

I came to the festival for love slate. Now loose on the street.

I came to the festival for love slate (front)

Here we have the third installment of our Back to the Future mixtape project which sees us combine two of our loves – music and street art.

Our plan is simple. Get some new mixes together, burn them on CD and then put them out on the street with some exclusive slate cover art to see what happened. The piece is the size of a standard roofing slate (about 40 x 28 cm) and has the CD securely taped to the back so she should last a reasonable amount of time out in the open. It has been completed using the magic of paint pens, spraypaint and stencils. They are signed on reverse with our trademark id-iom stencil and logo.

With sunshine the prevailing weather condition for once we can finally get round to the idea that summer – and the always amusing festival season – is on the way. I’ve been to Glastonbury every available year since 1999 and thoroughly enjoyed myself every time – come rain or shine. I’m sure this year will be no exception. The poor lady in this piece however is not having such a great time as she’s gone to a festival and someone has callously broken her heart. My best advice to her would be to head to the bar…
