BP Brixton Refinery

I was thinking about the oil spill on Mexico’s Gulf Coast and thought I’d do something a little closer to home to commemorate BP’s involvement in the whole affair. I had a little trouble getting my ‘pipe’ to stick to the wall and had to go back a couple of times to ensure that it wouldn’t fall off. Not to worry though as the oil I used was wallpaper paste and acrylic so it won’t seriously damage anything…

Bird’s nest

Sometimes you just get lucky. There I was minding my own business when I chanced to notice an old bird’s nest on the floor (and I would like to stress that it was old and with no birds or eggs in it as my good lady seemed to think it a possibility that I would have shinned up a tree and evicted some luckless little chick!) After a couple of ¬†frantic minutes of construction I had managed to come up with this little intervention…

Cheers
