‘Ain’t no mountain high enough’ was inducted into the Grammy hall of fame in 1999. And it was written by Ashford & Simpson and performed (in it’s original incarnation) by none other than Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. If that isn’t enough of a pedigree to inspire a piece of art then I don’t know what is.
