You might remember a McFly song with a similar title and that is because they ripped it off from this guy, who at the time was a busker on the streets on Liverpool.
You’ll find they don’t talk about it much now but they have previously proclaimed they wrote the song themselves but if Jonny boy here is to be believed then they heard it direct from him and went on to record it themselves. This was apparently the original cover art for his original version. At least I’m pretty sure that’s what he was mumbling about between sips of Special Brew before he thrust this into my hands…
