Maps have proved very useful over the years. Although I doubt this map will be guiding anyone anywhere again. Destiny has something entirely different in store for this particular map. She’s become art.

Now although I’ve never had my own stag do I’ve been on a few and I think one of the more poetic ways to describe it is ‘enterrement de vie de garçon’, which literally means ‘(the) burial of the life as a boy’. Now I’m not saying that is what actually happens but it has a nice sentiment all the same.

Drink, drugs and many other types of debauchery are acceptable, lap dances too – and all in the name of marriage. A lot of British stag do’s now travel away and a popular destination is Prague so i thought an old map of the region would do it justice.

She has been created using the magic of acrylic, ink, watercolour and charcoal, is 48 x 60cm in size and has been signed on reverse.

Maps. You’ve got to love them. They can come in very useful. Although I doubt this map will be guiding anyone anywhere again. Destiny has something entirely different in store for this particular map. She’s become art.

Hovering like a spectre over the middle east with her cigarette dangling perilously close to the Mediterranean this somewhat imperious looking lady may or may not have all the answers but it appears she’s keeping her mouth shut for now.

It’s 48 x 60cm and is signed on reverse. I think she’ll look lovely framed up (but i guess i would…)

The best things in life

The best thing in life

The best thing in life

So here we are again and we’ve got still another piece in the id-iom demolition sale. Who would’ve guessed that we had so much stuff stashed away in our now defunct studio? And like our other pieces it’s starting at the austerity busting price of just 99p… Here is the Ebay Link.

‘The best thing in life aren’t things’. Despite advertisers trying to convince us that wanting a life full of material possessions is what we all want I think we all know deep down that this small phrase is a truism that’s hard to deny. That said I have had my eye on a snazzy new laptop that I swear would make me happier…

She’s an A3 screen print on paper with unique hand finishing including the magic of watercolour, spraypaint, stencils and old school felt tips. Signed on reverse
