I know the title sounds like a 70’s prog rock band or some dodgy porno but it’s not. It came to me in a dream where the Ladyfinger Cloud Pump is actually the newest and most revolutionary invention created by renowned British designer James Dyson. We’d been the best of friends for years and he was excited about his invention but didn’t reveal to me exactly what the device actually does.

After the name leaked media speculation as to the nature of the device was rife. I was given the task of coming up with some misleading marketing material to further muddy the waters and upon waking decided to fulfil my dream commission anyway. According to my dream the device will be available later this year so watch this space…

Cloud room panorama

Cloud room panorama

After uncovering the sordid affair that has been happening in the cloud room I thought it best to reveal all in one big panorama. You’ll just to trust me that it looks better in person considering that the demolition team are now going to be the only people to actually see it in situ.

I wonder if we’ll be able to get a few bricks with painting on as mementos once the old girl has been brought crashing down…

Tears of a Care Bear

Tears of a Care Bear

This is what happens when you make Care Bears cry. As we saw yesterday the Care Bear had turned to drink in order to soothe his broken heart. His belly insignia had turned to rain clouds and the weather had responded. However, when Care Bears are depressed they are still dangerously volatile magic creatures so one should always apply caution. A Care Bear rain-bow is almost as rare as unicorn’s tears but a lot more spectacular – and will drown you far more quickly…

Unrequited Love Bear

Unrequited Love Bear

I know that love is meant to be blind but it was never really going to work out was it? We have The Girl with the Pelmet Crown and a Care Bear. She’s a frosty and aristocratic human-looking character and he’s a Care Bear. No wonder he’s resorted to drinking to soothe his ragged nerves.

We can only imagine the pain when he exposed his feelings and she ruthlessly snubbed him and crushed his dreams in the process. And now between them they’ve smoked enough cigarettes that the entire room is filled with clouds. Hopefully he’ll get over it some day…

The Call of Duty

The fruits of today’s labour consists of a couple of newly commissioned prints which will shortly be ready to grace the walls at their new residence.

The Call of Duty

If you’ve ever played Call of Duty online and you’re about as good as I am (which isn’t to say i’m rubbish but I’m definitely a casual player as opposed to a hardcore 6-hours-a-day dedicated type) then you will undoubtedly have come up against an opponent much like the commissioner of this picture.

He works exclusively with a sniper rifle and will take you out before you’ve even seen him. Then take out the rest of your team too. To reflect this highly annoying level of skill we created a Call of Duty themed print that I’m pretty sure will hit the spot. Featuring all the deadly weaponry you can think of and his gamer tag I can only hope it’s an inspiration on the rare occasions when things aren’t going his way…

Storm Bird (pretty in pink)

Our next piece was commissioned for a young lady – hence the very fetching pink colour. It’s a one-off special of our Storm Bird print which was originally created as thank you for the good folks who helped us out with the creation of our video. And if you haven’t seen the video then you can turn the sound up and sit back for a couple of minutes of graffiti based oddness (featuring the god-like being of Tom Selleck – what more could you want?):

It never rains…

It never rains – but it pours. Living in the UK this is something you come to understand early in life… Sometimes you manage to have an umbrella handy but more often than not you’ll simply get caught in a downpour. Anyway i realise i’m probably slightly obsessed with the weather at the moment but with the onset of spring it’s hard not to fantasise about the (hopefully) impending good weather. It will be nice to be able to work outdoors again…

Bring on the summer!
