All your slaps are belong to me

So in an update to yesterday’s post the cat has now taken control of the stickers. She’s definitely more agile and fearless when climbing stuff than I’ll ever be but I fear she’ll have problems getting the backing off. Only time will tell. If she succeeds I for one welcome our new feline overlords.

Cheers

No colour above plimsoll line

No Colour Above the Plimsole line

As you can see this picture features a cat with some kind of rainbow-vision, a plimsoll line and a tiny version of us! It is actually a combination of two previous large scale pieces we had done. The first was our piece done at UPfest 2010 (featuring the ‘working’ CCTV camera in the top left) and the second was done on a friend’s wall.

It’s a single layer A3 screen print with unique hand finishing. The print also features our little ‘id-iom’ stencil that has been applied on the print just like on the UPfest piece. Here’s the Ebay link

There Will Be Milk!

There Will Be Milk!

There Will Be Milk!

Another day, another picture for sale in id-iom’s Yuletide Fundom Demolition Sale!

This piece was inspired by a larger version we painted live at a small show we had a while back – see here. It’s clearly a cat in a tank but his dark motives are obscured behind a cute fluffy visage but don’t be fooled. Surely the fact that he’s in a tank means his intentions aren’t entirely honourable. There will be milk!

It’s a single layer screen print on A3 and is signed on reverse. It’s starting at 99p and here’s the Ebay link

Never Underestimate Rabbits!

With the Chinese Year of the Rabbit fast approaching (it’s Feb 3rd in case you didn’t  know!) I thought it best to get this one out of the way. This is why i’m dubious as to what will happen in 2011.

I think the clue is in the title on this one. We all know that rabbits are hardly trustworthy at the best of times right? Well i can safely say that you can never underestimate one that tests make up on itself! They are definitely the worst kind and not to be trusted under any conditions. You can just see it in their beady little eyes.

Consider this more of a warning sign than anything else. You have been warned…

Bird’s nest

Sometimes you just get lucky. There I was minding my own business when I chanced to notice an old bird’s nest on the floor (and I would like to stress that it was old and with no birds or eggs in it as my good lady seemed to think it a possibility that I would have shinned up a tree and evicted some luckless little chick!) After a couple of  frantic minutes of construction I had managed to come up with this little intervention…

Coco the slightly sad looking puppy

I thought i’d share a picture of a gift just completed for a friend. It’s based on a photo of his dog called Coco who looks slightly sad in this photo. We don’t usually do things like animal portraits but he asked nicely so what can you say? I’m not sure if he knows exactly what kind of work we usually do and think he is probably expecting something a little bit more traditional – but this is what he’s going to get! I had to hold myself back from adding more design detail in the background but think the plain white works well.

I have been guaranteed that Coco is actually quite a happy puppy but this was his favourite photo of him so it was the one to go for…

For a large version of the picture go to our flickr page here
