It’s been a tough year all round. George here used to be like you and I until the pandemic crept up on us. Now he lives by different rules. He’d had enough of the 5g covid pigeons, maskers, vaxxers, people who didn’t like electro swing and, most importantly, people who didn’t believe in the new messiah Donald J Trump. After that it was all too easy for George to leave society behind.
So he decided to prepare for the future he knew was coming. George found a bit of land in the most remote part of the planet possible. He didn’t pick Hawaii or New Zealand though as he thought Bill Gates might have a compound there like all the other tech CEO’s. He picked the Pitcairn Islands as they were giving away free land to entice new community members (he should probably have looked into why) and he needed as much money as possible to build the treehouse he had planned so he could live in solitude amongst nature. Now he sits alone in his treehouse amongst the birds. No wi-fi – No gods – No masters. Although he did wish he’d brought a bit more food with him as he only had one Chewit left…
Michael, George and Elton are a trio of identical triplets who each possess a modicum of magical ability. On the day they were born their grandmother whispered in to each babes ear the magic words that have never been repeated. I’m pretty sure all they can do is make frogs, dogs, cats, bats, certain lizards legs and wooden pegs and of course water rain from the sky but definitely not money. In the social media age this has been good for them but not great. The term one trick ponies has been bandied about for sure. The three take it in their stride however. They now have a very successful wooden peg business and most of their days are spent as they please. Clouds and silver linings and all that.
#Catselfie – Collaboration between id-iom and Sir George Raggett
You might not think of a cat as being a narcissistic hipster but believe me when I tell you that they are. Whenever I leave my phone in the front room overnight I wake to find literally dozens of pictures of my cat hanging out with a few friends in my photo gallery. I’ve never woken to find them in my house yet every picture is taken either in the front room or, more frighteningly, in my bedroom. Whilst I’m asleep. There is some evidence they’ve been uploading them to instagram and twitter too but i’m too scared to check exactly what they’ve been up to. Be warned.
This is the second of three collaborations we’ve done with the ever affable Sir George Raggett. If you haven’t seen his stuff before go check it out. I think you’ll agree he has a superb cheeky irreverent style that you’ll just fall in love with.

Madam, I think you have something on your face – A collaboration between id-iom & Sir George Raggett
Here at id-iom HQ we use collaboration pretty much every day to produce our pieces. So it should come as no surprise that we are always more than happy to collaborate with other people. In fact it’s a whole load of fun as you never quite know what the final product is going to be. And I just love a bit of mystery.
This time around we got in touch with the honourable Sir George Raggett. If you haven’t seen his stuff before go give it a look. I think you’ll agree he has a superb cheeky irreverent style that you’ll just fall in love with. If it isn’t obvious who did which parts of this piece we did the girl and George did the sardines. Ours is not to reason why. This is the first of 3 collaborations we’ve done with George, so expect to see more soon enough.

I like George Michael. He makes me laugh. Why on earth he doesn’t just get himself a driver/chauffeur i’ll never know. If you follow the link here and scroll down to the bit where it says ‘Drugs’ you will get a quick precis of his arrests over the past few years. Now i’m not saying that he shouldn’t be able to smoke what he wants but why on earth he insists on crashing into just about everything on his way home i’m still not sure.
I liked this one so much we have even got it framed up in a nice little box frame (and it’s still for sale if anyone’s interested!)
Sometimes it’s just too easy to mock troubled celebrities…
