I’m just going to stand here resolutely ignoring you and staring off page into my own personal shangri-la. You can’t have a look and there’s nowt you can do about it. So there. I’m just going to keep staring as long as you’re looking at me….

The way I figure it you can take this piece one of two ways:
1) You’ve just found the person of your dreams and therefore that particular journey of searching is over and a new journey with both of you is just beginning
or
2) You’ve just got rid of the person who has been bringing you down for the last few years and its time to start afresh
If you lean towards point one then you’re probably hearing The Carpenters’ ‘We’ve only just begun’ right now but if you’re more inclined to lean towards point two then i’m sure its something a little bleaker (but still a great song) like Oran ‘Juice’ Jones’ ‘The Rain’…
