Office zombie

We’ve all been there. Well, most of us anyway. It’s Thursday so perhaps a drink after work may be in order. One turns into another. Unfortunately, we all know the end result. 

Friday becomes a day of creatively staring at the computer and shuffling round the office in a vain attempt to avoid detection. Little to no work will be done and he’d do well to actively avoid sabotaging himself. All he can look forward to is his boss putting him out of his misery and letting him go home early but he knows that is about as likely to happen as oranges suddenly becoming sentient worldwide. Let this be a lesson to all those thinking today might be that day!!

Home Sweet Home*

‘Hi ho hi ho it’s off to work we go’ is a cheery refrain heard up and down the country each morning as we happily swing out of bed for another rousing day at the office. Working for the Man is such a rewarding and fulfilling pastime that it feels just like home. So you might as well just give in and make it so. Bring some soft furnishings in and pop this on the wall and suddenly everything is better. Maybe.

She’s a homely A2 in size, is made using the magic of spraypaint and stencils and would look just great hanging in your ‘office’. Whatever that may be. Drop us a line if interested…

I don’t think the motivation behind this piece is entirely difficult to imagine… If you haven’t worked in an office then you can’t imagine how lucky you are. If, however, you have worked in an office then I’m sure you can appreciate the sentiment behind this piece.

You only really have to spend a day in just about any office to know what i’m on about. In fact, that feeling is probably one of the reasons I love doing art so much. No one (well almost no-one) to answer to or to tell you what to do. And any credit (or otherwise) goes directly to you. No evil boss trying to take the credit (or pass the blame). Ah, the life of an artist…

The Office…

I love our studio… Just yesterday for example I was tidying up our ‘paper storage’ area and came across a small selection of the one and only proper print we’ve ever put out. It’s a four colour print on top quality A2 paper (well, strictly 3 colour and one varnish layer) and was created by a real professional (it’s just too frustrating to try doing multiples with our current set up!)

Anyway, as Christmas is on the way we are offering these little beauties for just £50 (including postage to anywhere in the world!) so buy now – before they are all gone!
