We haven’t seen one of the spheres out and about in a while. This one seems to have taken an intense interest in this young lady’s rainbow coloured hair and has been following her around for days now. Quite what it’s doing is entirely unknown.
Whilst most people may be a little concerned that a ominous orb has been shadowing their every move Emilia here doesn’t mind so much as it looks great as a mysterious background for her Instagram pictures. She’s been gaining followers at quite a rate but she has been having some rather odd thoughts of late…

Given the current proclivity of ‘re-imagining’ old content for a new generation I’ve gone for a prequel to Fireball XL5 as the design ethic behind this piece. The show now has more adult content and focuses on the sentient yellow spaceship shaped like a ball known only as Fireball XL! It travels the galaxy on an existential quest to find the meaning of life. Here it is hovering above some futuristic tube lines where it’s huge bulk casts a deep shadow on the sea of liquid chalk below. If that’s not what you saw when you looked at it then it’s not my fault. It’s the truth and I’m sticking to it…

‘I see three of them out there’ mumbled Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa in the 1985 classic ‘Rocky IV’. The reply from his trainer? ‘Hit the one in the middle!’. Good advice all things considered. That hasn’t really got much to do with today’s picture other than he’s going on about three of them and I’ve clearly repeated the same logo three times for today’s piece in a sort-of attempt at a 3D look but Rocky came to mind as I was writing so thought I’d shoehorn it in and consider it done.

If you’ve seen the 1998 film ‘Sphere’ then you’ll know exactly where this sphere is coming from. It’s not simply a picture but more a manifestation of your own thoughts of desires. You will see in this picture exactly what you think of yourself. Maybe that’s true or maybe I liked how the first one of these came out so decided to do myself another. Who knows? The Muse moves in mysterious ways…
