I like to think of this girl as gyrating round a pumping dancefloor with a mischievous look in her eye whilst she casts about for someone fun to dance with. She’s a basshead and lives for these brief moments of freedom through the medium of dance. It should be apparent by her the small tattoo on her head. The top she’s wearing is also something of a giveaway.

Now I’m not entirely sure what these boys are up to but you can bet your bottom dollar it isn’t something wholesome that your mum would approve of.

We as individuals make our own limitations, our own chains. Without sounding like a self-help book ‘we forge the chains that bind us in life’ is something of a blinding truism that many people fail to see. It’s not what happens to us in life but how we handle whatever comes our way that makes us what we are. That said I did get arrested once and i’m pretty sure the handcuffs weren’t constructed by my fair hand. So take from that what you will.

Time is a funny old thing. As a kid you can’t wait to grow up and be able to do all the things you dream of. Then somehow life gets in the way and before you know it you’ve somehow morphed into an adult human and realise that adulting isn’t quite all it was cracked up to be. It used to be easier to avoid people when we dealt solely with physical reality. If you clocked them before they saw you again then avoidance was a doddle. I think I miss those days. She looks much like any other lady you might see swanning around town and to all intents and purposes she is. It would be difficult to distinguish her from a thousand others just like her if you didn’t happen to know her a bit better. And what would distinguish her in this modern world of tinder dating, digital photography and deliveroo would be the fact that she likes to do things the old fashioned way. That isn’t to say she isn’t aware these modern conveniences but just that she prefers the old school, hands-on style experience. And who’s to say she’s wrong…
