So, it’s round 2 for our newest session at the White Horse. This time we had the pleasure of repainting the corridor in the gents toilet after the painters accidentally painted over the last mural we did in there when they were in redecorating. D’oh! The buff man comes in many guises it would seem.
Seeing as it is the gents toilet in a bar we decided something a little risque might well be in order and after a little deliberation came up with a cheeky little number inspired by Vargas’ pin up girls imagery. She’s a proud lady with a certain ‘come hither’ look in her eyes but most of all she’s proud of her little black stole. And she hopes you like it too. Whoops! Looks like it’s slipped a little…

With the weather seemingly on the turn it seems a fine time to bring out this lovely little ray of sunshine. As we begin to realise there is life after winter and start making plans for summer surely everyone looks forward to drinks, barbecues, holidays and sunbathing. Well this young lady is already there and clearly enjoying it.
The line ‘crotch hot and happy’ comes from a book called Bastion Falls by Susie Maloney and for some reason this obviously had some resonance with me. After the mandatory gestation period from reading the book to coming up with a design this is what came forth…

Hedonism: devotion to pleasure, especially to the pleasures of the senses. This was pretty much our inspiration for this piece that we got done a while back. This was a 1m x 1m commission that we completed for a client who works in the music industry. After he completed our questionnaire it was pretty much the only way forward. One of my favourite touches is the big pile of glitter the fella is about to snort…
