Twats

Sometimes when life gives you lemons you make lemonade and turn an otherwise bad situation to your advantage. On other occasions however oneĀ  must simply hastily down tools, throw one’s hand in the air and storm out in a huff whilst uttering the immortal phrase ‘Twats. The lot of you’. Here ends the lesson.

‘Twats’ is A2 in size and doesn’t care who knows it. She’s been lovingly made using the magic of spraypaint and stencils. Drop us a line if interested…

As a bonus how’s this little nugget – unlike many other swear words, ‘twat’ is included in Google’s auto-complete function. So now you know.

Cheers

Other People’s Graffiti (Southend car edition)

In today’s exciting instalment of Other People’s Graffiti we have a bashed up Astra with ‘twat’ scrawled on it that we saw whilst on our travels in Southend. Now, whilst the handstyle is a little basic there’s no mistaking the message. I could sit here all day making up comical reasons why this could have taken place but sadly I don’t know anything about it so speculation is all I’ve currently got. I’m currently erring towards a jealous lover style situation. If you happen to live in Southend and know anything about this little bit of street art I’d appreciate if you’d drop us a line. Inquiring minds need to know.

Cheers

Sunday afternoon TV

I’m sure we’ve all felt a little down sometimes but this fella is feeling it pretty bad. It’s Sunday afternoon, he’s pining for a lost love and the world doesn’t seem to care. At least he’s happy for the time being…

This is one of my favourite pieces that we’ve done and i know exactly what it is that sells it to me… It’s the little blobs of dried and shiny acrylic paint that have been affixed to the piece. I especially like the fact that it’s all black and white apart from the little bubble he is sat in where he’s constructing his own little bright future (although reality is not quite so bright – and even the TV knows it!) This is currently in the UPfest gallery in Bristol and is busy waiting for a new owner to take it home to give it the requisite care and attention it needs. Get yourself down there and have a look in person…

Cheers
